In Sorel, QC,on November 11th, 2020, passed away at the age of 82, Gaston Saucier, husband of Dorine Richard, living in Sorel-Tracy and originally from Causapscal, the son of the late Gustave Saucier and the late Gratia Tardif.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 52 years and his three daughters: Chantal (Lynn Duhon) of Louisiana, Isabelle (Roberto Abreu Merino) of Cuba and Marie-Elaine (Mathieu Gagné) of Sorel-Tracy, as well as by his 6 grandchildren: Karima, José, Lukas, Lorali, Jasmine and Liam.
He is survived by his sisters: Paulyne (late Jean-Claude Morissette) of Quebec, Carmen (André) Dallaire of Chicoutimi and Ginette (Albert Gignac) of Amqui. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jean-Yves (late Louisette Lavoie) of Montreal, his sister, Jocelyne (André Doucet) of Quebec. He is also leaving many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held from Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, (506) 532-1050, on Thursday, June 30th, 2022, from 2:30 pm to 3:15 pm, followed by the service in the Chapel at 3:30 pm.
Interment in Saint-Joseph Parish Cemetery, Shediac, NB.
In Gaston’s memory, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
