Geneva Maillet, 99, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, at the Georges L Dumont HUC, Moncton on Tuesday August 11, 2015. She was married to the late Ernest Maillet (1995). Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and the late Amanda (Cormier) Richard.
She will be sadly missed by her three children; Donalda LeBlanc (late Fidèle), Raoul (Mabel) and Jean-Marie (Rosemonde) all of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, eight grandchildren; Jérome, Julien, Marcelle, Martine, Stephane, Michelle, Chantal and France, and seven great grandchildren; Josée, Alexandre, Sophie, Jasmine, Maxime, Ariane and Noah. She also leaves to mourn three sisters; Dorine Cormier of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Ella Mathieu of Connecticut, Lorraine Graham of Niagara Falls and two brothers; Alonzo (Évéline) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, and Donald of Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.
Geneva was predeceased by one daughter Jeannita, one granddaughter, Carole, three sisters; Anise, Corinne and Noella and one brother Gerald.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Friday August 14, 2015 from 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will take place at the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Church on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Geneva’s memory donations may be made to the CHU DUMONT Foundation.
