George Perry, 89, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, November 6th, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB.

Born in Amherst, NS, he was the son of the late Patrick Albert and the late Eva Mary (née: Fraser) Perry.
George, an avid bowler, was a member of Fairlanes Golden Jets and Golden Agers bowling teams.

He is survived by his wife, Verna (née Estabrooks), with whom he would have celebrated 68 years of marriage on November 23rd, 2009; one daughter, Sharon (Ross) Burnett of Dieppe; one son, George (Paulette) of Dartmouth, NS; two sisters: Patsy (Billy) McManaman of Amherst, NS and Joyce (Raymond) Babineau of Moncton; four brothers: Lloyd, Jack (Olive), Hubert (Phyllis) and Garnet, all four of Amherst, NS; five grandchildren: Sean, Shelly, Michelle, Brent and Scott; two great grandchildren: Addison and Rylee as well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves an extended step-family.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Hugh Clifford in 1944 and also by three brothers: Ernest, Norbert and Fred.

Respecting George’s wishes, there will not be any visitation or funeral service.

Interment at the Chartersville Funeral Home Colombarium, Dieppe, NB.

Funeral arrangement entrusted to the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901).

Né à Amherts, N.-E., il était fils de feu Patrick Albert et de feu Eva Mary (née: Fraser) Perry.
George avait une passion pour les quilles, il faisait parti des équipes “Fairlanes Golden Jets et Golden Agers”

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Verna (née: Estabrooks), avec qui, il aurait célébré 68 ans de marriage le 23 novembre prochain; une fille, Sharon (Ross) Burnett de Dieppe; un fils, George (Paulette) de Dartmouth, N.-E.; deux soeurs: Patsy (Billy) McManaman de Amherst, N.-E. et Joyce (Raymond) Babineau de Moncton; quatre frères: Lloyd, Jack (Olive), Hubert (Phyllis) et Garnet, tous de Amherst, N.-E.; cinq petits-enfants: Sean, Shelly, Michelle, Brent et Scott; deux arrière petits-enfants: Addison et Rylee ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il laisse aussi une belle-famille.

Outre ses parents, un fils, Hugh Clifford en 1944 ainsi que trois frères: Ernest, Norbert et Fred l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

À sa demande, aucune visite ou service funérailles aura lieu.
