Georges-Henri Dumont, 75, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday, January 29th, 2007, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in Campbellton, NB, he was the son of late Charles and the late Joséphine (née: de la Bruère) Dumont.
He was the former owner/operator of Dumont Furniture Stripping and Refinishing of Beresford and Dumont Upholstery of Campbellton, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and a parishioner of Ste Thérèse R.C.C.
He is survived by two daughters: Marguerite of Jasper, AB and Hélène (Bernard) Cadieux of Moncton; one son, Charles of Edmonton, AB; their mother, Mona Keays-Dumont of Dieppe; three sisters: Jacqueline, Marcelle and Marguerite; two brothers: Pierre and Michel; one granddaughter, Clémence as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one grandson, Maximillien and one sister, Jacqueline.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday, February 1st, 2007 from noon until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste.- Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday, February 1st, 2007 at 2 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame des Neiges Cemetery, Campbellton, NB.
