Moncton, NB – Georgette Landry, 64, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Charlo, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Émilia (Levesque) Landry.
Georgette will be sadly missed by her son, Mathieu Chiasson of Montréal, QC; her five brothers, John-Émile (Fran Harder) of Edmonton, AB, Ralph of Moncton, Marcial (Liza) of Saint-Damien , David of Moncton and Edgar (Loretta Fougère) of Edmonton, AB; her five sisters, Rose-Marie Landry (Pierre Boudreau), Pearl Landry-Carrier (Frank Frenette) both of Moncton, Marthe Landry of QC, Viola Haché (Ernest) of Montréal, QC and Nicole Landry of Moncton; her sister-in-law, Yolande Landry of Venice, Florida; her grandson, Nathan; also by several nieces, nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Eddy and her sister, Delvina.
Visitations will be at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
