St-Louis-de-Kent, NB – Gérald Bourque, 61, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, NS on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, after a complication with the transplant.

Born in Bouctouche, NB on January 13, 1952, he was the son of the late Valerie and Carmelite (LeBlanc) Bourque.

Gérald will be sadly missed by his partner, Nelida Richard; his daughter, Lynn Hadley (Farley) of Welland, ON; the mother of his daughter, Rose-Marie (Melanson) Bourque of Moncton; his two step-daughters, Karen Richard (Serge Godin) of St-Ignace and Cindy Boudreau (Rhéal) of Dieppe; his two brothers, Jean-Marie Bourque (Pauline) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent and Vincent Bourque (Adrienne) of St-Anselme; his sister, Valerise LeBlanc of St-Antoine; his special uncle, Normand LeBlanc of St-Anselme; his two grandchildren, Oceanna and Soleil; his three step-grandchildren, Myriam, Justin and Yanic; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, Yves LeBlanc.

Visitations will be at the Thompson Memorial Home in St-Louis-de-Kent on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm. No visitation on Saturday. Funeral service will be held at the St-Ignace-de-Loyola RC Church in St-Ignace on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11 am.

In respect to Gerald’s wishes, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society (Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Dept.) would be appreciated.
