Saint-Antoine, NB – Gérald Eagle, 79, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent.
Born in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Elie and the late Marie-Rose Eagle (née Richard).
Gérald will be sadly missed by his children: Pierrette Eagle (Robert) of Saint-Antoine, René Eagle (Jessica) of Balmoral and Martine Eagle-Poirier (Claude) of Saint-Antoine Sud; his siblings: Dolorèse Gaudet (Roger) of Saint-Paul and Léo Eagle of Saint-Antoine; his grandchildren: Chantal (Mecko), Josiane and Mélodie; his great grandchildren: Tatyana, Aiesha, Hayley and Zayden; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the mother of his children: Annette Eagle (née Richard); two granddaughters: Mélanie (infant) and Mireille (infant); his siblings: Denise, Dorilla, Rita, Thérèse, Zoёl, Laurie and Roger.
In respect to Gérald’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at St-Antoine l’Ermite Cemetery in Saint-Antoine at a later date this spring.
A donation can be made to Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of your choice.
