In Loving Memory Of
Gerald Gauvin
1932-2022

Moncton, NB – Gerald Gauvin, 90, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center on Thursday, December 29, 2022, going to meet his wife of 65 years that passed away August 10, 2022: Dorice (Caissie) Gauvin.

Gerald was born in St-Anselme September 10, 1932. He was the son of the late Albert and Andréa (Belliveau) Gauvin.

He will be deeply missed by his five children: Lucille (Roger) Blanchard, Denis (Debbie) Gauvin, Terry (Pierrette) Gauvin, Janice (Raymond) Blanchard and Monique (Todd) Belliveau; his 9 grandchildren, his 10 great grandchildren, his three sisters: Jeannine (late Gerry) Vautour, Bernadette (Albert) (late Laurie Desroches) and Loretta (Wilfred ) Savoie; his three brothers: Léo (late Jeannette), Normand (Doris) and Raymond (Jeannine) as well as by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gerald was predeceased by his sister: Félice (late Cléophas) Vautour and by two brothers: Roger (Irene) and Jean-Paul (infancy).

Gerald was employed with the city of Moncton for 34 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Club d’Age d’Or Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix. He loved being with his family. Also, he enjoyed the cottage on the weekend, playing cards, horseshoe, pool, darts, and he loved travelling.

Funeral service will be private and will be held at a later date.
