In Loving Memory Of

Gerry Myers, 83, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Sunday, April 14th, 2013 at his residence.

 Born in St-Antoine, he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Ida (née: Williams) Myers.

Other than his family; Gerry had two passions in life, country music and woodworking. He was probably best known as a member of the Bunkhouse Boys. He was a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce parish.

Gerry is survived by three daughters: Dale (Jack) Savoie of Moncton, Debbie (Brian) Myers-Hallsey of Augusta, ME and Shirley Myers (Rod Nicholson) of Nashville, TN; one sister, Dorothy “Dot” Myers of Moncton; two brothers: Len (Huberte) and Ernest (Sylvia) both of Moncton; one granddaughter, Céline (Garth) MacCallum, three great grandchildren: Seth, Nash and Bria, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents; he was predeceased by his wife, Bernice (née: Cormier) in 2002; six sisters: Anita, Mabel, Emma, Florence, Dora and Loretta and also by six brothers: Clarence, Laurie, Vincent, Tony, Ronald and Leo.

 Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 9:30 am until time of departure.

Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton on Wednesday, April 17th, 2013 at 11 am.

Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.

À sa résidence, le dimanche 14 avril 2013, à l’âge de 83 ans, est décédé Gerry Myers. Il demeurait à la Villa Providence, Shediac et autrefois de Moncton.

 Né à St-Antoine, il était fils de feu Thomas et de feu Ida (née Williams) Myers.

Outre sa famille; Gerry avait deux passions, la musique country et travailler le bois. Il était connu comme membre des Bunkhouse Boys. Il était membre de la paroisse Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Moncton.

Gerry laisse dans le deuil trois filles: Dale (Jack) Savoie de Moncton, Debbie (Brian) Myers-Hallsey de Augusta, ME et Shirley Myers (Rod Nicholson) de Nashville, TN; une soeur, Dorothy “Dot” Myers de Moncton; deux frères: Len (Huberte) et Ernest (Sylvia) toutes deux de Moncton; une petite-fille, Céline (Garth) MacCallum, trois arrières petits-enfants: Seth, Nash et Bria, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Outre ses parents, son épouse, Bernice (née Cormier) en 2002; six soeurs: Anita, Mabel, Emma, Florence, Dora et Loretta ainsi que six frères: Clarence, Laurie, Vincent, Tony, Ronald et Leo l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901) le mardi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h ainsi que le mercredi de 9h30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Moncton, le mercredi 17 avril, 2013 à 11h.

L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe.
