Gérald will be sadly missed by his wife, Rosa Maillet (Léger) of St-Damien; two daughters, Rachel Maillet of Cocagne and Jocelyne Maillet Cormier (Luc) of St-Antoine; his brother, Roger Maillet (Delia) of St-Norbert; six sisters, Georgina Cormier (Ovila) of St-Antoine, Louise McGraw (late Gérard) of Shediac, Florence LeBlanc (Roméo), Rita Bastarache (late Donat), Doris Caissie (Fidèle) all of Massachusetts, USA and Sr. Yvonnice, NDSC of Moncton; his two grandchildren, Joël and Bobby; and his great-granddaughter, Isabella.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Aurèle and Émile.

Private visitation and funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge at a later date.
