Gerald Raymond Bannister
1944 ~ 2022

Gerald (Gerry) Raymond Bannister passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2022 at the age of 77.

Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Perley and Lily (Hebert) Bannister.  Gerry was also predeceased by his loving wife Sandra (Arsenault), his brother James and sister Dolores, (Harold) Pomelow. 

Gerry had a sharp mind, ideal in his early years as an auditor for Revenue Canada and throughout his life as a card player extraordinaire!  He had a generous heart and will be greatly missed by his son Gregg (Jewel), daughter Kellie (Tim) Evers, brother Armand (Rachel), sisters Shirley MacMillan and Judy (Paul) Blacquière, grandchildren Willem, Amanda, Brandon and Rebecca and loving partner Leona LeBlanc and her son Kevin LeBlanc, and all of his nieces and nephews. He was a special man and will remain alive in the hearts of those he loved.

In respect to Gerald’s wishes, there will be no visitations and no funeral service.

Donations in memory of Gerald can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
