It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Geraldine Babineau, 91, on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, at the Villa du Repos in Moncton.
Born in Shemogue, she was the daughter of the late Albenie and the late Beatrice Donelle (Duguay).
Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Vicky (John) Melanson of Moncton; her son-in-law, Jacques “Jake” Després of Moncton; her grandchildren: Bobby and Natalie; her great grandchildren: Julie, Sabrina, Brandon, Emily, Caleb, Noah, Danika, and Benjamin; he great great grandson, Arthur; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert; her daughter, Annette Després; her sisters: Emerise and Anita; as well as her brothers: Alyre, Adrice, Freddie, and Albenie.
In respect to the family’s wishes, there will be no visitations and no funeral service.
Donations in memory of Geraldine can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of New Brunswick.
