Dieppe, N.-B – Geraldine Surette, 92, passed away on Monday, April 10th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital in Moncton.
Born in Lewisville on January 18th, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John Belliveau and the late Annie (Bastarache) Belliveau.
Geraldine worked at Deluxe French Fries until her retirement.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Henri Surette; her three sons: Leonard (Lucille) of Parkendale, Raymond (Albertine) of Dieppe and Terry of Shediac; her daughter, Rachel Grendell of Dieppe; her four grandchildren: Nicole, André, Jessica, and Tracy; her eight great grandchildren: Logan, Lea, Samuel, Cedric, Kierra, Rosalie, William, and Ella. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Roger Belliveau, her three brothers: Gerard, Alonzo, and Yvon; and by her two sisters: Lorraine and Geneva.
Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Sunday, April 16th from 2 to 4 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant Jésus roman catholic church, Dieppe, on Monday, April 17th at 11 am.
