Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Alphée and the late Marguerite LeBlanc (nee Richard).
Gerard worked 38 years with the department of Transportation. He loved spending time with his children and great grandchildren.
Gerard will be sadly missed by his wife, Yvonne LeBlanc (Poirier) of Haut St-Antoine; his three daughters, Linda Allain (Jean) of Charlottetown, PEI, Lisa Caissie (Marcel) of Bouctouche, Joanne Gallant (Olivier) of Grande-Digue; his son, David (Sarah) of St-Antoine; his three brothers, Aldérice (Claudette) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Fernand (Heather) of Notre-Dame, Léo-Paul (Debbie) of Cocagne; his three sisters, Jeannette Caissie (Normand) of Clinton, Mass, USA, Lorraine Fearon (John) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Claudette Maillet (Émile) of Leominster, Mass, USA; his eight precious grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Gérard was predeceased by two sisters, Zella and Dora; two nieces, Karen and Norma.
Visitations will be held at Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Slumber Room, 24 avenue de l’Église, Saint-Antoine on Sunday, November 15th, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm and on Monday November 16th, 2015 from 2 pm until the time of service
Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Antoine l’Ermite RC Church, 24 avenue de l’Église, Saint-Antoine on Monday, November 16th, 2015 at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
