Shediac, NB – Gérard Légère, 88, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, October 18, 2018.
Born in Cap-de-Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Albert and the late Florida Légère (nee Gallant)
Gérard will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Diana Légère (nee Poirier); by his two sons, Charles (Nancy) and Normand (Bonnie) all of Tewksbury, Mass; by his two grandchildren, Michael and Marc Légère; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Stella and by his two brothers, Léo and Willie.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Monday morning. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Villa Providence (Activities) in Shediac or to a charity of your choice.
