Cocagne, NB – Germain Mazerolle passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton, NB on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the age of 97.
Born in Pointe-Sapin, NB, he was the son of Germain Mazerolle and Marie-Jeanne Mazerolle, née Robichaud.
Mr. Mazerolle was a carpentry contractor before his retirement and a member of the Cocagne Golden Age Club.
Germain Mazerolle will be sadly missed by his three sons: Clarence Mazerolle, Bernard Mazerolle, and Claude Mazerolle, all of Cocagne; four daughters: Germaine Collette (late Léo) of Notre-Dame, Anita LeBlanc (Aubrey), of Cocagne, Florence Duff (Roger) of Salisbury and Carmella Mazerolle, of Dixon Point; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Germain was predeceased by his loving wife, Laura (Dallaire) Mazerolle and by eighteen brothers and sisters.
Visitations will be held at the slumber room of St. Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Tuesday, July 12th, 2022 from 2:00 pm until time of funeral service at the church at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Canadian Cancer Society or to any other charities of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Pepere was a very kind, soft spoken, caring and so loving. I will forever remember his voice and laughter, and how he loved us little kids, he would always tell us to go in the kitchen pantry for candy and of course, we filled our pockets. He loved hugs and family was his priority, you will be missed by so many. Xox ❤

Oncle Germain,un homme acceuillant avec une bonne “hug”et un sourire il était toujourx prêt à tout pour aider la famille, il a eu une belle vie et a su en profiter. Tu vas nous manquer plus que tu aurais pu l’imaginer!
