Germaine Richard, 91 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Sainte-Anne de Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Manoir on Saturday December 24th, 2011. She was married to the late Gilbert Richard (1992). Born in Cocagne on January 5th, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Hypolite and the late Régina (Bourgeois) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Lucille LeBlanc (Abel) of Sainte-Anne de Kent and Marie-Louise Richard of Saint-Antoine, two granddaughters; Joanne and Charline and four great grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Anicia and Brody, and also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son Jean-Guy (1968), four sisters; Dométhilde, Anne-Mai, Marguerite and Lumina and four brothers; Isorée, William, Joseph and Arthur.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Tuesday December 27th, 2011 from 1 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Tuesday December 27th, 2011 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
