Pointe-du-Chêne, NB – Gilbert (Sonny) Fagan, 85, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Gilbert SR. and the late Anna Fagan (born Gallant).
He was a Knights of Columbus 3rd degree, Council #8431 in Pointe-du-Chêne and a 4th degree Council #2793 in Grand-Barachois.
Gilbert will be missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Jacqueline (Jackie) Fagan (born Bourque); his son, Ronald of Moncton; his daughter, Anne Fagan (Patrick Higgins) of Stratford, ON; his three grandchildren, Denis, Robert and Janet; his nine great grandchildren; also by several cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Maureen Richardson (Carl).
As per Gilbert’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church in Pointe-du-Chêne on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 10:30 am.
