In Loving Memory Of
Gilles Gaudet
1962 - 2024

Bouctouche, NB– It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gilles Gaudet, 62, on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Health Centre in Moncton, NB.

Born in Moncton and raised in Saint-Paul-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Francis Gaudet and the late Stella (Belliveau) Gaudet.

Gilles will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Diane Vautour; his stepson, Corey Vautour; his three sisters: Roseline (Paul) Bourgeois of Dieppe, Lydia Gaudet of Saint-Antoine and Simonne (Gilles) Richard of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; and his brother, Jean (Gloria) Gaudet of Saint-Paul-de-Kent, he is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team. Gilles was also very proud of his extremely large collection of Canadiens hockey caps.

Beside his parents, he was predeceased his by brother Raymond.

Visitations will take place at Passage-Maillet, 29 de l’Église Street, Bouctouche, N.B. (506) 743-2207, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. only.

The funeral mass will be held on Thursday January 9, 2025 at 4:00 p.m., at Saint-Paul-de-Kent’s Roman Catholic Church.

Special thanks to the staff of Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Health Centre for the great care given to Gilles by nurses Judy Haché, Audree Jean, Dr. Théophile Thériault and Dr. Rémi LeBlanc.

Donations in memory of Gilles can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Interment in the parish cemetery of Saint-Paul in the spring.
