Shediac, NB – Gilles LeBlanc, 60, passed away peacefully at Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, October 16, 2016.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar and Corinne (Melanson) LeBlanc.
Gilles will be sadly missed by two brothers, Hector (Géraldine) of Hudson, Mass and Ola (Emma) of Natick, Mass; his three sisters, Stella LeBlanc (Gérard), Lorraine Goguen (Raymond) both of Waltham, Mass and Lilianne Russo (Ernie) of Brentwood, NH; his brother-in-law, Hervé Gagnon of Irishtown and Gérard LeBlanc of Leominster, Mass; his sister-in-law, May LeBlanc of Notre-Dame-de-Kent; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased one brother, Paul and two sisters, Florine and Rita.
Visitation will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur slumber room in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 5:30 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 7 pm. A reception will follow.
Donations to the “Phare des services communautaires” in Bouctouche, CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology Research) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
