GIZELE LEBLANC

Gizele LeBlanc, 52, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, October 29th, 2010, with her family by her side at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Moncton, NB, on April 18th, 1958, she was the daughter of Doris (née: Melanson) and the late Yvon Surette.

Mrs. LeBlanc was employed at Price Waterhouse Cooper and was a member of the Memramcook Valley Cruisers as well as the Moosehead Friday night bowling league.

Besides her mother, Doris Surette of Memramcook, she is survived by her husband, Raymond; two daughters: Michelle (Luc) LeBlanc of Dieppe and Rachel LeBlanc of Lake Louise, AB; one grandson, Joshua LeBlanc; two sisters: Simone (Doug) Hughes of Moncton and Lucille (Wally) Lafko of Holliston, Mass; three brothers: Donny (Marie-Thérèse) Surette of Moncton, Roger (Robin) Surette of USA and Rhéal “Tiger” (Cindy) Surette of Waltham, Mass; her mother-in-law, Ernestine LeBlanc of Dieppe, several  nieces and nephews as well as the extended LeBlanc family and many close friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Yvon Surette and also by her father-in-law, Raymond LeBlanc.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm.

Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010 at 11 am.

Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe NB.

 Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation “Oncology Unit” would be appreciated by the family.

À l’Hôpital Dr Georges-L. Dumont, le vendredi 29 octobre 2010, à l’âge de 52 ans, est décédée entourée de sa famille Gizele LeBlanc, après une lutte courageuse contre le cancer Elle demeurait à Dieppe, N.-B.

Née à Moncton, N.-B., elle était fille de Doris (née: Melanson) et de feu Yvon Surette.

Mme LeBlanc travaillait avec Price Waterhouse Cooper, elle était membre des Memramcook Valley Cruiser et de la ligue de quilles “Moosehead Friday night”.

Outre sa mère, Doris Surette de Memramcook, elle laisse dans le deuil son époux, Raymond; deux filles: Michelle (Luc) LeBlanc de Dieppe et Rachel LeBlanc de Lake Louise, AB; un petit-fils, Joshua LeBlanc; deux soeurs: Simone (Doug) Hughes de Moncton et Lucille (Wally) Lafko de Holliston, Mass; trois frères: Donny (Marie-Thérèse) Surette de Moncton, Roger (Robin) Surette des E.-U. et Rhéal “Tiger” (Cindy) Surette de Waltham, Mass; sa belle-mère, Ernestine LeBlanc de Dieppe, plusierurs neveux et nièces ainsi que la grande famille, LeBlanc et plusieurs ami(e)s.

Son père, Yvon Surette ainsi que son beau-père, Raymond LeBlanc l’ont précédée dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le lundi de 14 à 16 h et de 19h à 21h.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Ste-Thérèse, Dieppe, N.-B. le mardi 2 novembre 2010, à 11h.

L’inhumation  au colombaire de la Maison funéraire Chartersville Dieppe, N.-B.

Un don à la fondation Hôpital Georges-L. Dumont “Oncologie” serait apprecié par la famille.
