Bouctouche, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria
Girouard, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her residence at Foyer Pauline, following a brief illness.
She was 95 years old.
Born in Richibouctou-Village, NB, she was married to the late Edgar Girouard and was the daughter of the late Camille LeBlanc and the late Azélie (Allain) LeBlanc.
Gloria will be sadly missed by her two sons: Jean (Louise) Girouard of McIntosh Hill and Rhéal (Rachael) of Bouctouche, one grandson Rémi Girouard. She also leaves to mourn one sister Florence Grattan of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar and by her brother Sylvio.
Gloria loved to paint and was an avid bowler.
Donations in memory of Gloria can be made to the Saint-Jean Baptiste Parish.
Visitation will be held at Passage-Maillet Funeral Home 29 rue de l’Eglise Bouctouche N.-B., on Thursday, June 19 th, 2025,
from 2 pm to 4h15 pm, followed by a funeral mass at the Saint-Jean Baptiste church at 4h30 pm.
She will be laid to rest in at the Saint-Jean Baptiste cemetery Bouctouche, N.-B.
