Gérald LeBlanc, 63, of Shediac, passed away on Friday, April 11th, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in St.-Anselme, NB, he was the son of the late Cléophas and the late Claudia (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc was a former director of Human Resources with ACOA. He devoted time as a director of the Moncton Chapter of the United Way and a parishioner of St.-Anselme R.C.C.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice (née: Richard); three sons: Serge (Rachèle) and Pierre (Julie) both of Dieppe and Michel (Guylaine) of Moncton; six sisters: Lorraine LeBlanc of Moncton, Dorothée LeBlanc of Montreal, QC, Jeannette (Normand) Lavigne of Dieppe, Adelma (Richard) Patton of Mears, Michigan, Bertha (Pius) Gaudet of Memramcook and Angela Savoie of Dieppe; four brothers: Arthur (Denise) and Emery (Jane) both of Montreal, QC, Denis (Stella)of Dieppe and Claude of Moncton; five grandchildren: Maxime, Simon, Amélie, Cédric and Claudia as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. LeBlanc was predeceased by two brothers: Paul-Émile and Robert.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, 857-1901, on Tuesday, April 15th, 2008, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from St.-Anselme R.C.C., on Wednesday, April 16th, 2008 at 11 am.
Interment in the Chartersville Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital ”Oncology Unit” and Juvenile Diabetes would be appreciated by the family.
