H. Allister Parsons, 75, of Robichaud Office passed away at home on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
Born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, NS, he was the first of twelve children born to Doreen Mary (Seward) and the late Herbert Allister Parsons.
Allister retired after working many years for CN Rail in Moncton, NB. He then worked at the Irving Box Factory in Shediac for a number of years.
Allister’s home was on the ocean, where he enjoyed nature and the simple things in life. He loved jogging and walking the beach with his beloved dog Sam, digging clams, eating lobster, fishing and boating. Allister was an avid sports fan and he loved to spend time with family and friends.
Allister is survived by his daughter: Carol Lynn Parsons and will be sadly missed by his mother: Doreen Parsons; his brothers and sisters: Donna Scott (Glenn), Lynda Johnston (Fred), Doreen Shippee, Kevin, Roseanne (George), Paulette Oram (Pat), Brenda Garnett (Rob), Wayne and Christopher (Katherine); also by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, Allister was predeceased by his brother: Raymond and an infant brother: John Francis.
There will be no visitation and funeral service at funeral home. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

I,ll miss you Allister. I loved to visit you, go boating and clamming and of course fishing.We so enjoyed the Girls Parties…I can still see you and your brothers watching from-a -far as your Mom, Grandmother and your old auntie(me), your sisters and their friends sang, laughed and kariokied the night away by the fire at your water-front home!We had a fabulous time doing this over the years….and you were always our gracious host and welcomed us relatives from near and far…so many happy memories…see you later Allister-love always
Allister you were my best friend.So, we often had meals together..sat outside and enjoyed the sun and ocean together-watched the boats and enjoyed the seafood too!All in all we had enjoyable times together, and I’m sure we will again–with lots of love–Monique
