Helen Connors, 69, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, October 2nd, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB.
Born in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Viola (née: Power) McGrath.
She is survived by three sons: Claude (Michelle) of Dieppe, Steve (Lisa) of Barrie, ON and Randy (Deborah Ann) of Grand Lake, NS; three sisters: Margaret (Bob) Ferguson of Riverview, Ann (Roger) Goguen of Miramichi and Shirley (Dave) Mier of Edmonton, AB; seven brothers: Joseph (Edith) McGrath of Miramichi, Wally McGrath, Lloyd (Joan) McGrath, both of Saint John, Wayne (Elsa) McGrath of Victoria, BC, Blair (Karen) McGrath of Calgary AB, Keith McGrath of Halifax, NS and Brian (Pearl) McGrath of Saint John; one step-brother Marvin (Clarese) McGrath of Saint John; nine grandchildren: Sheena-Marie, Troy, Brittany, Jonathon, Scott, Ryan, McKenzie, Alexa and Addison; one great granddaughter, Oceana as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Shepherd in 1984, her step-mother, Kay and also by one brother, Alan.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm, on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure .Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB on Monday, October 5th, 2009 at 11 am. Interment in the Oceanview Memorial Gardens, Saint John, NB.
