Shediac, NB (formerly of Rogersville) – Hélèna Gallant, 96, passed away peacefully at Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, May 13, 2016.
Born in St-Norbert, NB, she was the daughter of the late Magloire and Julie (Maillet) Boucher.
Hélèna will be sadly missed by her daughter, Géraldine Gallant (Donald) of Grande-Digue; her brother, Antoine (Gina) of Fredericton; her two sisters, Yvonne (Georges Richard), Thérèse Doiron (Ernest) both of Rogersville; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Régis Hachey; her second husband, Ernest Gallant; one foster son, Joe Arsenault; four brothers, Pierre, François, Jean-Baptiste and Laurent; four sisters, Marie, Évangéline, Philomène and Bertha.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 9 am until time of funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge at 11 am.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
