Helena Melanson, 79, of Moncton passed away, peacefully, on Saturday, July 7th, 2018.
Born in Juniper, NB, she was the daughter of the late Premelite and the late Marie-Claire (née: Holmes) Gaudet.
Helena is survived by her husband, Paul Melanson of Moncton and her 3 children: Deborah Melanson-Hebert (Ronald) of Moncton, Roland Melanson (Debbie) of Calgary, AB and Sharon Melanson (Robert) of Riverview; as well as 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sisters and brothers: Louise Melanson (Aurele) of Dieppe, Raymond Gaudet (Stella) of London, ON, Emelda Flanagan (Howard) of Beersville, Joseph Gaudet (Lea) of Ste-Marie, Paul Gaudet (Gail) of St. Paul, Aquilla Gaudet (Caroline) of Gallagher Ridge, Omer Gaudet (Peggy) of Hebert Siding, Ulysse Gaudet (Jeanette) of Bouctouche and Diane McDonald (Roger) of Moncton; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Besides her parents; she was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Gaudet.
No Visitation prior to the service.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, July 13th, 2018 at 11 am.
Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.
