1925 ~ 2020

Moncton, NB — Henri “Harry” Hébert, 95, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, on Thursday, July 16, 2020, after a brief illness.

Born in Bouctouche, NB, he was the son of the late Michel and the late Sarah Hébert (born Cormier).

Harry worked for over 35 years as a CN Carman. He was a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, he loved to play cards and go camping.

Harry will be dearly missed by his children, Paul (late Lee), Linda Hébert both of Moncton, Dianne Cormier (Rheal) of St-Antoine and Henri (Maureen) of Moncton; his sister, Marie-Louise Bourque (late Laurie) of Breau-Village; his grandchildren, Peter (Angela), Norman (Holly), Maxx Newlove, Pierrette Cormier (Jules), Catherine Cormier (Dave), John Doiron (Heather) and Julie Doiron (Dany); thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson; his sisters-in-laws, Jeanne-Mance Hébert of Bouctouche, Sara Lirette of Bouctouche Cove and Lila Hébert of Shediac; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Rita Hébert (born Bastarache); two daughters, Jeanne Hébert-Johnson and Pauline Hébert (Infant); his siblings, Willie, Hervé, Raymond, Roméo, Jeannine and Joseph.

As per request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce RC Church in Moncton, on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 2 pm, with a maximum of 75 people, due to the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Lung Association or to a charity of your choice.
