Hermaine (Mimi) LeBlanc, 77, of Lakeburn, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Leger’s Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Colestie (Goguen) and the late Amédée Roy.
Hermaine retired after 25 years of service working at both Moncton airport restaurants. She loved spending time with her family, she loved crosswords and playing bingo, where she met so many great friends. Her biggest passion was making homemade hand quilted quilts for babies and her family. She wrapped us in warmth and love with gifts of her beautiful work; treasures of her forever, sleeping under one of her beautiful creations is like getting a warm loving hug from her.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 57 years, Zoel LeBlanc (Lakeburn); her four children: Brian (Lakeburn), Debbie (Lakeburn), Linda (Gary) Rogers (Dieppe) and Christopher (Tracadie-Sheila); her cherished grandchildren: Nicole, Jacob, Nathan, Matthew, Steven, Darlene, Zachary and Aaron; great grandson, Benjamin; she also leaves to mourn, her sisters: Dorine Roy (Dieppe), Aline (Gary) O’Brien (Salisbury), Rita Roy (Moncton), Cecile (Bob) Laird (Moncton), Gloria (Larry) Hebert and his brother, Norman (Rolande) Roy, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her sisters: Leah (late Paul) Arsenault (Chatham), Aimée and Emma and also by her brothers: Donnie (Rosa) Roy and Laurie (King) Roy.
In keeping with Hermaine (Mimi’s) wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
