Hervé Raymond

Hervé Raymond, 86, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, September 5th, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB.

Born in Rivière-du-Loup, QC, he was the son of the late Esdras and the late Alice (née: Dionne) Raymond.

Mr. Raymond retired from Eatons after 27 years of service as a watch maker later working as a commissionaire at the Moncton Airport. He was a WWII Veteran having served with the R.C.A.F., a member of the Lakeside Golf Club and a parishioner at Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-L’Assomption.
He is survived by his wife, Ella (née: Richard); one daughter, Lise (late Claude) Langis of Moncton; one sister, Anna D’Amour of Rivière-du-Loup; three grandchildren: Christiane (Jacques) Boudreau, Caroline and Marc-André; one great grandson, Maxime as well as by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three sisters: Alice, Cecile and Carmen and also by two brothers: Gerard and Henri.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday, September 7th, 2006 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Cathédrale Notre-Dame-le-L’Assomption, on Friday, September 8th, 2006 at 11 am.

The Legion will be having a prayer service on Thursday at 7 pm.

Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB
