Huberte Maillet, 86, of Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB, passed away on Monday, May 8th, 2023, at her residence.
Born in St-Pierre-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Adelin and the late Marie (Allain) Melanson.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed with B. R. Richard Lobster Shop.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Jaillet (Daniel) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent; her grandchildren: Ryan (Danica) and Taylor (Ghislain); her sisters: Stella Allain (late Edouard) of Bouctouche Bay and Lorraine LeBlanc (Donald) of Shemogue; her brother, Normand Melanson (Élise) of Moncton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, André T. Maillet and by her sisters: Dorice (Frank) and Rose (Yvon).
Visitation will be held from Ste-Anne-de-Kent Parish Salon, Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB, on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 from 9 am to 10:45 am, followed by the funeral mass at 11 am.
In Huberte’s memory, a donation can be made to the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital “Palliative Care”.

Jackie et famille, mes sincères condoléance. J’ai des belles mémoires d’Huberte de quand j’étais petite. Elle était toujours accueillante avec un sourire. Ton père André la sûrement accueillir mais je suis sur que maman va chercher pour elle pour elle aussi.
