Huberte Richard, 82, of Résidence Au Bénaise, St-Antoine and formerly of Notre-Dame, passed away on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023, at her residence.
Born in Cocagne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Louis and the late Rose-Marie (Cormier) Cormier.
She is survived by her daughters: Gilberte Richard (Marc Goguen) and Diane Richard (Reginald LeBlanc), both of Notre-Dame, Gisèle Bourgeois of Monroe, Conn and formerly of Gardner, Mass and Denise Richard (Trevor) of St-Antoine; her grandchildren: Isabelle (Julien), Nicole (Vincent), Nathan (Jason), Chantal and Joey; her great grandchildren: Sophie, Vinny, Timmy and Olivia; her sisters: Florence Fougère (Edmond) of Shediac, Muriel Allain (late Emile) of Cocagne and Claudette Dupuis (Alyre) of Notre-Dame; her brothers: Laurie Cormier (Valida) of St-Antoine, Roméo Cormier (Florida) of Bouctouche and Alderice Cormier (Cathy) of Windsor, ON; her special friend, Donat LeBlanc, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Richard; by her infant sister, Claudette and by her brother, Donald.
Huberte was an exceptional mother and dedicated part of her life to her children. One of her passions was listening to music and we would like to thank Junior LeBlanc for that special afternoon performance during her last days.
The family would like to thank Linda, Ryan and the employees of Residence Au Bénaise, as well as the team of medical professionals for the excellent care.
Visitation will be held from Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, (506) 532-1050, on Sunday, January 29th, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm only.
Funeral mass will be held from Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur RC Church, Notre-Dame, NB, on Monday, January 30th, 2023 at 11 am.
In Huberte’s memory, a donation can be made towards masses at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur parish, for Activities at Résidence Au Bénaise or to the NB Lung Association.
