Cocagne, NB – Ida Gallant, 84, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, May 18th, 2018.
Born in Saint-Antoine NB, she was the daughter of the late Hector and the late Eva LeBlanc (nee Poirier).
Ida will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Anita LeBlanc (Valmond) of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Linda Bourgeois (Louis) of Shediac Bridge and Donna Cormier (Pierre) of Grande-Digue; by two sons, Raymond (Ila) of Sackville and Paul of Barrie, ON; by her four sisters, Thérèse Cormier (Ulysse) of Gardner, Mass., USA, Léona LeBlanc (late Émerie) of Saint-Antoine, Aline Gallant (late Aurèle) of Grande-Digue and Noëlla Gallant (Richard) of Gardner, Mass., USA; by her eight grandchildren, Stéphanie, Krystelle, Jenna, Julien, Keeghan, Eldon, Lena and Jessica; by her great-granddaughter, Ella; and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Évariste "Boyo" LeBlanc.
Visitation will be held at Saint-Pierre-de-Cocagne Slumber Room, Cocagne, on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm until time of funeral at Saint-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church, Cocagne at 7:00pm.
Donation can be made to the Stella-Maris Hospital Fund or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
