Ida Landry, 93, of Saint-Louis, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at the Villa Maria Inc., Saint-Louis, on Thursday January 12, 2017. She was married to the late Yvon Landry (1996). Born in Saint-Louis, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and the late Mélanie (Daigle) Babineau.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Napoléon of Leominster, MA as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister, Marie and six brothers, Luc, Sylveste, Pierre, Antoine, David, and Xavier as well as a sister and brother in infancy.
Visitations will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis, on Sunday January 15, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Louis des Français Church in Saint-Louis on Monday January 16, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In memory of Ida donations may be made to the parish cemetery.
