Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB – Imelda Babineau, 72, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, after a sudden illness.
Born in St-Antoine, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and the late Aurelda (Goguen) LeBlanc.
Imelda will be sadly missed by her son, Marcel Babineau (Linda Gallant) of Notre-Dame; her daughter, Patsy Richard (Léo) of Notre-Dame; her five sisters, Jeanita Gallant (late Fred) of Grande-Digue, Alicia LeBlanc (Henri), Émilia Roy (late Ronald), Rosella Gauvin (Normand) all of St-Antoine, Jeanne Roy (Vincent) of Notre-Dame; her brother, Ola LeBlanc (Claire) of St-Antoine ;her grandchildren, Tonya, Matthew, Camille, Monica and Stéphanie; her great grandchildren, Mekayla, Mélodie, Sophie and Patrick; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alyre; one daughter, Nancy and one brother, Clarence.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, June 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, June 30 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Monday, June 30 at 11 am.
