Dieppe, NB – Irène Desroches, 87, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022.
Born in Sunnybrae, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fidèle Cormier and the late Marie Cormier born Richard.
Irène will be sadly missed by her son, Michel Bourque (Freda) of Cocagne; four daughters, Joanne Bourque (Ryan), Charline Bourque, Ginette Arsenault (Barry) all three of Moncton and Lise Savoie (late Ghislain) of Dieppe; two sisters, Alida Cormier (Ulric) of Bouctouche and Thérèse Bourque (Daniel) of Cocagne; to her ten grandchildren and to her six great-grandchildren; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Irène is now resting beside her first husband, who is also the father of her children, Joseph Bourque, her second husband, Léo Desroches; her four sisters, Rita (late John), Aline (late Philibert), Yvonne (late Laurie) and Edith (late Paul) as well as her four brothers, Edmond, Arsène, Edgar (Loretta) and Gérard (Barbara).
Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Home of 363, Amirault Street Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1 on Monday, March 28th, 2022, from 2pm until 3h30pm. The Funeral service for Mrs. Desroches will be held from Sainte-Thérèse-de-L’Enfant-Jésus Roman Catholic Church of Dieppe the same day at 4pm.
