Irénée LeBlanc, 92, of Sainte-Marie de Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Dr Georges L Dumont HUC, Moncton, on Tuesday April 7, 2015. He was married to the late Florence (Cormier) (2013). Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, he was the son of the late Fidèle and the late Béatrice (Maillet) LeBlanc.
Irénée will be sadly missed by his son Léo-Paul (Carmella) of Shediac, two grandchildren; Alexandre (Brittany) and Natasha Jeradi (Yassine) and one great grandchild Nassim. He also leaves to mourn three sisters; Rita LeBlanc, Olive Cormier (Paul-Emile) of Moncton, Maria LeBlanc of Memramcook, one brother Victor (Geneva) of Sainte-Marie de Kent as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by five brothers; Antoine, Aurèle, Elie, Néri and Ovila.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Thursday April 9, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Marie de Kent Church on Thursday April 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Irénée’s memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
