Irène Michaud, 96, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, in Bouctouche, on Thursday April 9, 2015. She was married to the late Gérard Michaud (1991). Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Ephrem and the late Eugénie (Cormier) LeBlanc.
Irène was an elementary school teacher in Bouctouche for 35 years.
She will be sadly missed by her sister, Corinne Gallant of Saint-Anselme and several nieces and nephews.
Irène was predeceased by three sisters; Florine, Sr Stella and Mélina and three brothers; Aquila, Erice and Ronald.
To comply with Irene’s wishes there will be no visitations. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste RC Church in Bouctouche, on Monday April 13th, 2015 at 4:00pm.
In Irène’s memory a donation can be made to Georges L Dumont Foundation or to the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste.
