J. Anselme (Sam) E. LeBlanc
1943 ~ 2021

 New Hampshire – Sam, formerly of Moncton, NB, passed away on Thursday, December 9th, 2021, at the Hospice House in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Born in Moncton, NB, on July 17th, 1943, he was the son of the late Fred and Geraldine (Bourque) LeBlanc.

Sam is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine (Gerrie) of New Hampshire; his son, Frederick (Scarlette) of Exitor, NH; his grand-daughters: Amelia and Aubrey, and his and Gerrie’s large extended family in the United-States; his siblings in Canada, his sisters: Amanda (Vincent) and Theresa (Marco); his brothers: George (late Anita), Alfred (Pauline), Léo (Sandra), all of Moncton and John (Christine) of Riverview, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sisters: Jeannine, Eva and Louise and also by his brother-in-law, Cecil Wilson.

Sam grew up in Parkton, and was one of the first to join the Moncton Boys Club when it was formed. He worked with his dad until moving to the United States in 1963 where he joined and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 till 1971. After his service, he worked at the Gillette Plant until his retirement.

Funeral service was held in Plaistow, New Hampshire on Thursday, December 16th, 2021.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, none of his Canadian family were able to attend.

Rest in peace brother – Always remembered, always loved.
