Born in Urney, NB, he was the son of the late Norman and the late Annie Chambers (nee Dalling)

Russell leaves to mourn his wife of 47 years, Annie Chambers (nee Johnson) of Berry Mills; his two sons, John (Sylvie) and James (Pam) all of Berry Mills; his three sisters, Myrtle Chapman (late Harold) of Saint John, Florence MacArthur (late Gordon) of Sussex and Alice Parlee (Paul) of Rothesay; his two grandchildren, Melina and Darian; a chosen daughter, Sheryl Lea Ross; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Russell was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Braman, Ivy Carten, Jean Poley, Lucy Chambers, Freda Lauzon and Marjorie Braman; and by his three brothers, Harold, Lemuel and Charlie.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, NB, on Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 from 9:30am until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, Moncton, NB, on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 at 11:00am
