It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Cormier, 70, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Jeannette Myers (Cormier) and the late Laurie Myers.

Jacqueline will be sadly missed by her mother, Jeannette Myers (Vincent Doucet); her loving partner of 38 years, Lionel Boucher; her children: Shawn Myers of Vancouver, Monelle Cormier (Sylvain) of Dieppe, Roger Boucher (Lucille) of Notre-Dame, Shirley Boucher (Benoit) of Dieppe, and Annette Roy (Maurice) of Dieppe; her grandchildren: Brooklin, Yann, Galieve, Anika, Parise, Mark, and Matthew; her brothers: Terry Myers of Shediac and Ricky Myers of Grande-Digue; her niece, Lynnea Myers; as well as many close relatives and friends.

Jacqueline worked for many years in administration for Lionel’s company, Future Doors. She was known for being a great cook and would make lots of food for everyone. Growing up in a family that was very musical, her and Lionel would go to many bluegrass festivals together. They also loved spending every winter together in Florida.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the intensive care unit at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital for the great care they provided.

Visitations will take place at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. A private celebration of life will be held for the family.

Donations in memory of Jacqueline can be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation or to Lupus Canada.

    Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of a very special person. I met Jackie many years ago even before Shawn was born. She had given me all her Barbies and their clothes even home made ones. They were so beautiful and I cherished them for years. I was so thankful that she had given them to me.

    We didn’t see each other very often but when we did, of course, we gave each other the biggest hugs. Our conversations would always include our families. She had that beautiful smile and had a wonderful personality. I always took her as part of our LeBlanc Family.

    She will be missed by so many people. Rest in Peace .

  38. So so sorry for the family. We were good friends for a long time. There is never going to be another Jackie, she was beautiful inside and out, always worried about others. She has no more pain now we cannot imagine her not being here. We had great times and lots of fun together. Praying for Lionel and the children to have strength.   61. Jackie was among one of the most special person you could find and call a friend. She was kind, friendly, loved people and the people loved her back. There will be a very large whole in the lives she touched as she leaves us. My deepest sympathies to Lionel, the love of her life, and also her kids and grandkids that she adored. They say life is short and that we are just passing through. Her trip here was cut short but the impact is pretty grand. We will forever holds your memories in our heart. Until we meet again.

    My parents often talked about you and Jackie and how much they enjoyed you both, and how you were such nice people and dear friends… We now know why because we got to see for ourselves…

    In the short time that Roger and I got to know Jackie, she always made us feel so welcomed and at home… with her heartwarming smile, her contagious laugh and her amazing hospitality, not to mention her delicious food… Roger and I count ourselves so fortunate that we got to know her…
