In Loving Memory Of
Jacqueline “Jackie” Fiset
May 22, 2021

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline “Jackie” Fiset, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Jackie passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care in the Dr. Georges-L.- Dumont University Hospital Centre on May 22, 2021.

Born in Moncton on June 07, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Louis and the late Estelle Fiset (nee Gauvin).

She will be missed by her brother Louis Jr. “Tucker” Fiset and her niece Lyra Fiset, both of Taos, New Mexico.

Jackie started her working career as an administrative assistant at a Sobeys owned company in Moncton. She then moved to the Sobeys Head Office in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, where she occupied a similar role in the Personnel department. Her career then led to an executive secretary position at Michelin in Nova Scotia, and she later moved to Montreal to work at the Michelin headquarters. Jackie retired in 1999 and returned to Moncton where she devoted her time and energy to her mother until her death on April 01, 2021. With a genuine and warm smile, Jackie loved life and was always ready with a helping hand. Jackie had a passion for clothing. It did not matter where she was going or what she was doing, her cloth was always impeccable and in the latest style and fashion.

A celebration of life will be held later at the Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery in Chartersville.

A special thank you to her friend “Garden Angel” Stella Boyle for the care and attention she gave Jackie at home prior to her admission to the hospital. A hearth felt thank you to Dr. Ghedira, his caring staff and to the members of the Palliative Care Unit for the care, love, and attention they gave Jackie during her short stay in the Hospital.
