  25. Amanda, Max, Jemma & River,
Sending so much love your way.
I worked with your daddy/hubby at NAV. He was one of my absolute favourite people on the planet and in some ways, he changed the way I live and parent my kids. Just so supportive, genuine, funny – and wow, did he ever talk about you guys a LOT – I loved hearing stories about you exploring out in nature, camping, digging holes in the backyard, cute holiday moments, playing games….he was ALL about you four and his face would light up with the best smile when he told these stories. There was often a great big laugh fest during and after the story, too. Even the challenging parts of family life didn’t faze him, he was “all in.”
His time on earth was far too short, but because if you all, it was epically beautiful…and that means so much. ((Big hugs))

  26. My thoughts are with you and the kids, Amanda, as well as with your siblings. This is the time that family helps you through. Lean on each other

  27. To Cindy and Doreen..

  29. My deepest sympathies and condolences to Amanda and family. I was lucky enough to start at NAV CANADA with your husband/father and worked closely with him over the years. He was always someone that we loved to interact with, and having him in a room made everyone’s day better. His time here was far too short and will be so greatly missed.

  30. Over the years, Jim was highly respected in the NBCC community both as an EET student & graduate and also as an industry contact with NAV. He contributed greatly to the development of our programs. He will be missed. On behalf of those of us at NBCC, past and present, I extend condolences to all his family, colleagues and industry partners.

  31. Was completely shocked to hear about this. Jim the gentle ginger who had nothing but kindness in his heart. Always down for adventure and a person who already lived in legends during hikes and brewing at the “Tracy Lake Brew Company”. Jim was a rare breed in a scary world, a great example of a ‘good person’. My heart has been so heavy for his family and loved ones.

“A little bit of up” one last time buddy. <3
