Moncton, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Brennan, age 76, on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in New Glasgow, NS, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Helen Hardy (Fennell).
Jean will be sadly missed by her three sons: Daniel (Betty) Powell, Richard Powell both of Moncton, Michael (Katrina) Powell of Halifax, NS; her daughter, Sherry (Tyrone) Brennan of Moncton; her four sisters: Anne Purvis of Plymouth, NS, Ruth (Ron) Bezanson of Brookfield, NS, Margo Coulter of Pictou, NS, Linda Russell of New Glasgow, NS; her four grandchildren: Gregory (Emma), Damir, Mia, Nazir; her great granddaughter, Hailee; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles Brennan; two brothers: Albert “Butch” (Betty) Hardy and Hughie Hardy.
As per the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service at this time.
Donations in Jean’s memory can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation.

My heart is heavy, it’s sad to say goodbye to someone as close as your mother, she was a great woman, I have fond memories of all of you, and your mom always had her door open to me anytime I was in the province (from Ontario) great memories growing up with all of you, my heart is broken for all of you, may she rest in peace, Aunt Jean will always be in my heart, until we meet again, love always

As one of her threes son’s I would like to say that I miss you mom. I miss you everday. There is not a moment I can’t stop thinking about you. You were truly truly the best mother anyone could ask for. I love you. I will always love you.
I am so very sad about Jean. I don’t have a clue what happened, but I love you all very much. Please facebook me and what happened. Sherry, I couldn’t find you guys. Amanda used to talk about you guys and Jean she loved her. My number is still the same 466-7708. I want to get in touch with Rick and Ronnie please and I know you guys talk.
