Jean-Claude Landry, 50, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, May 8th, 2013, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Maltempec, NB, he was the son of Théodore and Élizabeth (born: St-Pierre) Landry.
Mr. Landry was employed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada as an Immigration Officer; previously worked as a Customs Officer in St. Stephen, NB. Jean-Claude also participated in the RCMP Auxiliary Program, with the St. George, NB District. He was a member of Saint Anselme Parish, Dieppe, NB.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lynn Kenny-Landry; one daughter, Cloé and one son, Nikolas, both at home; one sister, Gilda (Daniel) Landry of Maltempec; three brothers: Bertrand (Marie-France) of Pont-Landry, Luc (Mikel) of Ottawa, ON and Léon (Rino) of Dieppe; parents-in-law, David and Doris Kenny; one brother-in-law, Wayne Kenny; two sisters-in-law: Suzanne Kenny (Marcel) and Johanne Kenny (Raymond), all of Pokemouche, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 from 9 to 10: 30 am.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation “Palliative Care” would be appreciated by the family.
The family wishes to send a thank you to Dr. Benjelloun and his colleagues, the staff of the Dr. Léon Richard Oncology Centre and the Blanche Bourgeois Unit of the Extra-Mural Program.

Jean-Claude avait participé au programme des gendarmes auxiliaires de la GRC au district de St. George, N.-B. Il était membre de la paroisse Saint Anselme, Dieppe, N.-B.
Outre ses parents, il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Lynn Kenny-Landry; une fille, Cloé et un fils, Nikolas, tous deux à la maison; une sœur, Gilda (Daniel) Landry de Maltempec; trois frères: Bertrand (Marie-France) de Pont-Landry, Luc (Mikel) d’Ottawa, ON et Léon (Rino) de Dieppe; ses beaux-parents, David et Doris Kenny; un beau-frère, Wayne Kenny; deux belles-sœurs: Suzanne Kenny( Marcel) et Johanne Kenny (Raymond), tous de Pokemouche, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901) le samedi 11 mai 2013 de 9 h à 10h 30.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint Anselme, Dieppe, N.-B., le samedi 11 mai, 2013, à 11 h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial Saint Anselme, à Dieppe.
Au lieu des fleurs, un don à la Société canadienne du cancer ou à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont «Soins Palliatifs » serait apprécié par la famille.
La famille désire remercier Dr Benjelloun et son équipe, ainsi que le personnel du Centre d’Oncologie Dr. Léon Richard et de l’Unité Blanche Bourgeois du Programme extra-mural.
