Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean-Guy LeBlanc, 72, that occurred on Wednesday, September 3^rd, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton.

Born in Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Elias LeBlanc and Alvina (Babineau) LeBlanc.

Jean-Guy worked as a Carpenter at Kent Homes in Bouctouche until his retirement.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Alvina; his son, Daniel (Heather) of New Hampshire; his daughter, Sandra LeBlanc of Moncton; his four grandchildren: Jesse, Travis, Kyle, and Melina; his three brothers: Alvin (Adele) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Rhéal (Cécile Léger) of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, and Paul (Eva) of Saint-Antoine; his five sisters: Florida (late Roméo) Cormier, Gisele LeBlanc, and Lise (Claude) Comeau all of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent; Aurore (late Donald Boucher), and Nicole (Ronny) Breau both of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his wife, Edna; his brother, Valmond; and by his sister, Denise.

There will be a private funeral service held at a later date. Interment will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent parish cemetery.
