Jean-Marie Belliveau

The death of Jean-Marie Belliveau, age 51, of Bathurst and formerly of Memramcook, NB, occurred suddenly on Tuesday March, 8th, 2011 as a result of a car accident in Bathurst.  

 

Jean Marie was a devoted employee of Josten’s /Life Touch for 26 years and co-owner of DuBel Photo.  He also worked in the past for Premier School Agendas in Ottawa.  He served as a Bishop for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Moncton for one year and as Branch President in Bathurst for 7 years on a voluntary basis.

 

He was passionate of his family, church and friends. In his leisure time he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with his wife Claudette.  He was an avid body builder and an adamant believer of good health.   This personal commitment to sustain a healthy outlook was clearly demonstrated as he successfully battled cancer since 2007.  

 

Family always came first and he constantly expressed love and affection for his wife and children. He embraced life to its fullest and was always up for an adventure.

 

He always greeted friends with a loving smile and showed genuine love and affection for all he met.  He believed in the Stephen Covey’s philosophy “Habits of Highly Effective People”.  His favourite saying was, “Seek first to understand before  being understood”.

 

Jean Marie was a loving husband and adoring father to his children.  He will be sadly missed by his wife Claudette (Dupuis), son Frederick, daughter Gabrielle, one brother Marcel (Montreal) and many relatives and friends.

 

He was pre-deceased by his parents Rosalie and Gerald Belliveau of Belliveau Village. 

 

His body will be resting at Chartersville Funeral Home,  

 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, N.B., Friday March 11, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2p.m. at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel.

Jean-Marie Belliveau, agé de 51 ans, de Bathurst (anciennement de Memramcook) est décédé soudainement le mardi 8 mars 2011 suite à un accident d’automobile. 

Pendant 26 ans, Jean-Marie était un employé dévoué avec la compagnie Jostens/Lifetouch, ainsi que co-partenaire avec la compagnie DuBel Photo.  Il a aussi travaillé dans le passé à Ottawa avec la compagnie Premier School Agendas.

Il  a occupé le poste d’Evesque de l’Eglise Jesus Christ des Saints des Derniers Jours pour une periode d’un an à Moncton ainsi que volontaire dans le poste de Président de la branche de Bathurst pendant une période de 7 ans.

Jean-Marie était un homme passionné de sa famille, son église et ses amis.  Pendant son temps libre, il jouissait conduire son Harley Davidson avec son épouse Claudette.  Il avait un grand intéret dans le body building et très consciencieux d’une bonne santé, ce qui l’aida à combattre un cancer en 2007.

Sa famille était priorité et démontrait toujours un grand amour et une grande affection pour son épouse et ses enfants.  Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Claudette (Dupuis), son garcon Frédérick, sa fille Gabrielle, un frère, Marcel Belliveau (Montréal) ainsi qu’une grande parenté et amis.

Il est précédé dans la mort par ses parents, Roselie et Gérald Belliveau de Belliveau Village (Memramcook).

La dépouille mortelle reposera au salon funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, NB le vendredi, 11 mars 2011 de 14 h a 16 h et de 19 h à 21 h ainsi que le samedi de 11 h a 14 h.  Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 12 mars 2011 à 14 h dans la chapelle du salon funéraire Chartersville.
