In Loving Memory Of
Jean-Paul Fournier
1966-2026

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of JP Fournier, who left us unexpectedly on June 19th at the Dr. Georges‑L.‑Dumont Hospital at the age of 60. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Gloria Ayles and Gerry Fournier.

JP was a man of strong spirit — someone who could argue with anyone, yet loved with a depth and loyalty that few ever experience, and beneath his toughness was a heart that gave freely, without hesitation, to anyone who needed him

He will be profoundly missed by his wife Vanessa Léger, his daughter Samantha Capson (Tyler Wright), his step‑daughter Bianca Léger, and his grandchildren Zayden and Natalyia, who adored him, as well as his devoted siblings who stood by him always and loved him unconditionally: Linda Fournier (Mike), Ivan Fournier (Cindy) and Roger Fournier (Lisa), all of Moncton and his nephew Jesse Stephens (Ashley) of Red Deer, Alberta. JP was predeceased by his parents, his brother Robert, his nephew and best friend MJ Fournier.

His loss is felt by many; for those who knew JP, his contagious laughter, fierce loyalty, and instinct to help anyone who crossed his path will never be forgotten. He loved boldly, protected fiercely, and leaves behind a legacy of unmatched jokes, strength, and unwavering love.

In his memory, a donation can be made to Diabetes Canada.

Visitation will be held from Passage, 625 Ch. Mountain Road, Moncton, NB, on Wednesday, June 24th from 11am to 1pm, followed by the funeral at 1pm.

The family invites you to sign a book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.

Arrangements under the professional care of Passage Funeral Cooperative and Cremation Center.
