Jean-Paul (JP) LeBlanc

Bouctouche, NB – Jean-Paul LeBlanc, 74, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 after a sudden illness.

Born in Bouctouche, NB on October 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Alyre and the late Emma LeBlanc (nee LeBlanc). He enjoyed fishing and spending time in his row boat, playing checkers, 200 and cribbage.

Jean-Paul is survived by his four sisters, Gilberte Smith (late Alexander) of Moncton, NB, Fernande Léger (late Paul) of Toronto, ON, Léonette MacLean (late Mike) of Moncton, NB and Marguerite Maillet (late Eugene) of Moncton, NB; his two brothers, Gervais (late Viola) of Moncton, NB and Ulric (late Rachelle) of Bouctouche, NB; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Jean-Paul was predeceased by his three sisters, Thérèse, Yolande and Benoite; his two brothers, Valerie and Elmo.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton on Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 from 1:00 pm till 3:15 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Christ-Roi RC Church, 300 Dominion Street (corner Essex), Moncton, NB on Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 at 3:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
