Jeanne McNeil, 98, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Thursday, May 21st, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Ottawa, ON, she was the daughter of the late Romuald and the late Elodie Gallant.
Prior to retirement, Jeanne worked for the Dieppe Pharmacy. She was a member of the CWL and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette parish (Lakeburn).
She is survived by two daughters: Catherine (John Fast) and Mary Ann (Bob Bodajla); two sons: Fred (Louise Melanson) and Paul (Kathi McNeil); four grandchildren: Ryan and Rory McNeil, Robyn Bodajla (Matt Durette) and Meghan Bodajla (Mike Pryor) and one great grandchild, Bo Pryor, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, William in 1958; three sisters: Rita, Evangeline and Simonne, also by four brothers: Aldérice, Hervé, Émile and Omer.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a funeral service will be held at a later date.

There will be no visitations. A funeral service will be held at Passage-Chartersville funeral chapel (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 at 2:00pm.
